“Progati Sheba Foundation” is an institution where there will be no exploitation and discrimination, and is established  with the aim of building a digital Bangladesh free from unemployment and engaged in the service of humanity to develop the potential of every human being. It is a non-commercial, non-political, private service organization. Its founder is Zakir Hossain. Since its establishment, this institution has been contributing to human welfare and every developmental work of the society. The foundation has established National Youth and Technical Computer Training to build skilled freelancers, which is located in Madaripur district, with the aim of building a unemployment-free digital Bangladesh. Its founder has spent his hard-earned millions to run these institutions.

This foundation has not taken any kind of financial support from the government or any financial institution or any individual. Although its founder is an accomplished freelancer and remittance warrior, the foundation has not taken any bank loan. The founder realized from his own experience that there is no substitute for education to acquire knowledge, action oriented education is the basic human right. Human change is not possible without education. Science and information technology can make the impossible possible. Information technology has changed the whole world such as schools, colleges, banks, insurance, business, trade, industries are run by information technology.

So in this age of technology the entire world is now dependent on computers. Poor people in Bangladesh die or become crippled due to neglect and untreated treatment. Many latent talents cannot develop their talents due to lack of necessary financial support. “Progati Sheba Foundation”  formed a board of trustees with 7 (seven) members into uncover  talent. Among which the founder Zakir Hossain is the honorable chairman of the trustee board and general secretary Sumi. Registered Office of “Progati Sheba Foundation” Haji Khalil Manson Purwaband  Dakpara, Keraniganj, Dhaka-1310. The liaison office is located in Gulshan, Dhaka. The official work of the Foundation and the activities of its subsidiaries are managed by a structure consisting of a number of officers and employees authorized by the Board of Trustees.
